Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Mechanical Site Supervisor on a contract basis for its Leeds site. The Mechanical Site Supervisor role comes with a day rate of £450.
Responsibilities
- Supervise piping construction activities during day and night shifts to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate piping crews and subcontractors to meet daily and weekly work targets.
- Develop and prepare Bills of Materials (BoM) required for snag rectification and outstanding works.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.
- Conduct site inspections and participate in walkdowns with clients and third-party inspectors as required.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and always promote safe working practices.
- Must have experience in working on an EFW (Energy from Waste) plant in construction / handover.
- Site Supervisor experience with experience in mechanical snagging closures.
