Astute's Renewable Team is partnering with a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector to recruit a Civil Site Engineer for its Glasgow site. The Civil Site Engineer role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000, alongside private healthcare and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Site Engineer roleReporting to the Project Director and Project Manager you will:
- Carry out setting out duties and oversee daily site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and to the required standards
- Assist in the coordination and execution of civil construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate works and address technical queries
- Promote and maintain high health & safety standards through site inspections, audits and accurate record keeping
- Support project reporting, quality assurance processes and the completion of project documentation
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- CSCS card (Engineering or above)
- Experience using CAD
The Civil Site Engineer role would suit someone who has:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong setting out capabilities and confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Sound understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices within a construction environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across project teams
- A well-organised, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
