Astute's Renewable Team is partnering with a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector to recruit a Civil Site Engineer for its Glasgow site. The Civil Site Engineer role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000, alongside private healthcare and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Site Engineer role

Reporting to the Project Director and Project Manager you will:

  • Carry out setting out duties and oversee daily site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and to the required standards
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of civil construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS
  • Work closely with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate works and address technical queries
  • Promote and maintain high health & safety standards through site inspections, audits and accurate record keeping
  • Support project reporting, quality assurance processes and the completion of project documentation
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • CSCS card (Engineering or above)
  • Experience using CAD
