Astute's Renewables team is partnered with an internationally recognised utility-scale solar developer and operator with a strong track record in delivering and managing renewable energy assets across multiple markets to recruit multiple Technical Control Room Operators to be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow regions. The Technical Control Room Operator role offers a salary of up to £37,500 DOE, along with a pension scheme, private healthcare, bonus scheme, and flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Control Room Operator role:
- Control and coordinate authorised site access activities, ensuring correct approvals and communication trails are maintained.
- Provide continuous oversight of wind, solar PV, and BESS assets using SCADA and operational monitoring platforms.
- Identify operational alarms, system irregularities, and equipment issues, taking appropriate first-line action.
- Record and maintain accurate operational data, shift logs, and asset performance history.
- Support the implementation of safe isolation, handover, and return-to-service procedures.
