Astute's Power Team are looking for an EC&I (Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation) Team Leader to join a brand new Energy from Waste Power Station located in Walsall. The facility, which is currently under construction, will provide a vital outlet for the sustainable disposal of over 436,000 tonnes of residual waste per year and will generate over 49 megawatts of low carbon energy. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of EC&I Technicians in performing pre-planned and reactive maintenance of all EC&I assets on site, managing projects & outages and supporting the wider maintenance function.
Responsibilities and duties of the EC&I Team Leader role:
- Management responsibilities for direct reports to include EC&I Maintenance Technicians (direction, co-ordination and performance analysis)
- Develop, implement, and maintain the facilities maintenance procedures and risk assessments.
- Management of C.E.M.S maintenance to ensure the plant remains environmentally compliant.
- Co-ordinate and supervise all plant maintenance activities to include contracted work.
- Fully conversant with EC&I maintenance processes and techniques with the ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute large-scale maintenance activities.
