The 132kV Mechanical Fitter role comes with a salary of up to £43,000 basic doe, plus up a 20% performance bonus, a yearly profit share (~£8,000), guaranteed overtime and much more. Responsibilities and duties of the 132kV Mechanical Fitter role:
- Assemble HV equipment up to 132kV
- Carry out testing, inspection and compliance checks
- Carry out oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding where needed
- Adhere to strict health and safety site regulations
- Be prepared to stay away most weeks Monday-Friday
Professional qualifications:
- No formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience:
- 5+ years experience as a 132kV fitter
- Experienced in assembling, testing and preparing HV equipment prior to energisation
- Experienced with oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding
- JIB/ECS gold card is highly desirable
