Astute's Renewables Team is exclusively partnering with a leading climate-focused real assets investor in the battery storage sector to recruit a Senior Technical Asset Manager for its London office. The Senior Technical Asset Manager role comes with a salary of £90,000 - £110,000 plus benefits.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Technical Asset Manager roleReporting to the Head of Operations and Asset Management you will:
- Lead the technical asset management team and set KPIs
- Own portfolio availability, reliability, and performance
- Manage and optimise BESS and renewable energy assets
- Oversee O&M contractors and service provider performance
- Analyse SCADA and operational data to drive optimisation
- Manage commissioning activities (PAC, IAC, FAC)
- Ensure HSE, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met
- Support reporting, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
We are looking for someone with the following:
- 10+ years' experience in renewable energy or power operations
- Strong experience in Renewable Energy, ideally Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Experience leading technical or operational teams
- Degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
