The company has a vast portfolio of renewable energy assets and a brilliant company culture of looking after their employees. We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Electrician to join the team to cover large scale, ground mount solar assets across the Suffolk region. This Solar Technician comes with a salary up to £40,000, with door to door pay and paid overtime too, including travel time.

Responsibilities and duties of the Solar Technician role:

  • Reporting to the Field Service Team Leader you will:
  • Ensure the best performance of large-scale renewable energy assets
  • Perform operations and maintenance duties across the portfolio of solar and battery storage sites
  • Conduct firmware updates and use computer systems to look for issues with the assets
  • Consistent inspection, maintenance and testing of the systems
  • Look for trends and use data analysis to see if you can spot any common trends and suggest ways to improve operations as a result
  • Occasional electrical works across the site including the welfare cabins and other associated electrics
  • Occasional working away from your patch/area and be flexible to help when the business needs this

At least a level 3 qualification in electrical installation; 2391 test and inspection is hugely preferred; Full UK driving licence.
