This role comes with a salary of 30,000 – 36,000 DOE, company van and provides an excellent opportunity to move into the utility scale solar world.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements. Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures
  • Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
  • Carrying out site surveys requests as required
  • Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit
  • Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
  • Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy

Professional qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent
  • C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection
  • 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
  • Ideally at least a year’s experience from within in a maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity
  • Full UK licence

Personal skills

  • Keen to get into renewables A real passion for renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage etc
  • Happy to travel around to sites in a field-based role
