Astute's Power team is partnering with a UK subcontractor to recruit a HVAC Engineer on a 6 month contract for its Scotland site. The HVAC Engineer role comes with a competitive rate per day.
As the HVAC Engineer, you will need experience in the following:
- Provide technical oversight and coordination of all HVAC systems during the installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Review and manage site construction activities by resolving technical queries, conducting inspections, monitoring installation progress, and coordinating interfaces with mechanical, electrical, process, civil, and C&I disciplines.
- Lead HVAC commissioning and start-up activities, including review of commissioning procedures, witnessing testing, troubleshooting issues, and verifying system performance against design requirements.
- Manage technical risks, design changes, and project interfaces to ensure HVAC works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Work closely with the existing construction and electrical teams.
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the HVAC Engineer role: Scotland, 6 months, Outside IR35.
