Astute's Power team are looking to recruit a Site Document Controller on an 18-month contract for a construction project, working full time on site, in North London. The Site Document Controller role comes with an hourly rate of between £20.00-£25.00.

Key skills:

  • Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects, or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Allocate and control the document numbering system for the project work.
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel.
  • Respond directly to daily issues/requests by using business practices and extensive experience in prioritising.
  • Administration of PIRS document system.
  • Receive all deliveries to site.
  • Ensure works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time, budget and Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
  • Keep the Site Manager or deputy informed of all site-related activities.
  • Must be an experienced Document Controller, site based, with previous work in construction industries.
  • Must ideally hold EDMS (document management systems experience).
  • Must be available to work on site full time (Monday - Friday).
  • Must ideally hold an SSC, CSCS or CCNSG Card.

  • £20 - £25 per hour
  • 18-month contract
  • March 2026 start
