Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy company in the UK to recruit a Shift Team Leader to join its CCGT site in West Sussex.
The Shift Team Leader role comes with a starting salary of up to £64,000 basic salary, £12,000 Shift Allowance and £2,100 SE allowance as well as benefits including bonus and medical insurance.

Responsibilities and duties of the Shift Team Leader role Reporting to the Production Coordinator you will: Lead and supervise shift operations to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient running of the plant.
Act as the primary point of contact for out-of-hours site management and operational decision-making.
Monitor plant performance and respond proactively to operational issues to maximise availability and efficiency.
Lead, motivate and develop shift personnel through effective people management and coaching.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance, reliability and safety standards.
Ensure operational activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies and industry best practice.
Proven operational and/or maintenance experience within power generation, oil & gas, refining, offshore, utilities or other heavy industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, engineering standards and regulatory compliance requirements, with NEBOSH, IOSH or similar qualifications being advantageous.
SAP authorisation is desirable, although candidates with Appointed Person status and hands-on experience managing safety isolations are encouraged to apply.
