Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Technical Asset Manager role
- Lead the technical asset management team and set KPIs
- Own portfolio availability, reliability, and performance
- Manage and optimise BESS and renewable energy assets
- Oversee O&M contractors and service provider performance
- Analyse SCADA and operational data to drive optimisation
- Manage commissioning activities (PAC, IAC, FAC)
- Ensure HSE, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met
- Support reporting, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
Professional qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in renewable energy or power operations
- Strong experience in Renewable Energy, ideally Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Experience leading technical or operational teams
- Degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
