Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with our client a leading contractor specialising in civil engineering within major infrastructure sectors, including nuclear, highways, and large-scale projects. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability, they are committed to delivering complex engineering solutions that support the UK\’s infrastructure growth. We are looking to recruit a Site Agent for its Sizewell C site.

The Site Agent role is vital for ensuring the successful delivery of this exciting project and comes with a salary up to 63,000, car allowance and private health care.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will:

* Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, program, and financial targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
* Oversee the production of detailed construction programmes, monitoring progress and ensuring timely delivery of critical activities.
* Manage project risks, costs, and resources while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Develop and support the project team, ensuring all members understand their responsibilities and are aligned with the project objectives.
* Monitor and manage project changes, providing clear communication on the impact of changes to cost and time.
* Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting risks, issues, and milestones to both internal and client teams.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

* Proven leadership and management skills within civil engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of the CDM Regulations and experience in implementing health, safety, and environmental procedures.
* Experience producing and managing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and cost plans.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Any other duties as required
