Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading nuclear sector contractor to recruit an Office and Logistics Administrator for a major nuclear decommissioning project in Seascale. This role offers the chance to support a busy project environment, managing procurement, facilities, and administrative operations that keep major nuclear infrastructure projects running smoothly. Responsibilities and duties of the Office and Logistics Administrator roleReporting to the Commercial Manager you will:
- Manage procurement of plant, materials, and logistics, ensuring compliance with company procedures and budgetary controls
- Maintain SAP records and produce regular reports on plant hire, materials, and site overheads
- Co-ordinate temporary and permanent material orders, deliveries, and call-offs
- Oversee facilities management for the project office, including security, cleaning, canteen services, and utilities
- Manage the project vehicle fleet, including maintenance, reporting, and compliance with manufacturer requirements
- Ensure all activities comply with HSQE regulations and company procedures
- Support site set-up, including offices, utilities, and welfare arrangements
- Provide proactive administrative support to project teams, facilitating smooth operations
- Assist with collaborative working practices in line with company procedures
This role is working on-site in Seascale and will require a flexible working attitude.

- Experience in procurement, logistics, or facilities management within construction or nuclear projects
