Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit an EC&I Technician to work on a CHP plant in Seascale. This crucial EC&I Technician has Monday to Friday working hours and the salary can be discussed upon application.

Responsibilities and dutiesReporting to the Site Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding, installing and maintaining instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) and control systems.
- Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the site's DCS/control systems.
- Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS).
- Assisting in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMS.
- Supervising and directing on-site contractors when required.
- Ensuring strict HSE compliance at all times.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A recognised EC&I engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of maintenance on controls and instrumentation equipment.
- Experience working in a maintenance position in a similar industry.
The EC&I Technician role would suit someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and is able to take initiative on site.
- Adheres to SHEQ regulations.
- Able to work Monday to Friday fixed hours.
