Astute’s Renewables Team is with a working with a well-established energy from waste business who are fully committed to contributing to a more sustainable world. They are looking to recruit an experienced SCADA Operator for their anaerobic digestion plant in South London to work a Thursday to Sunday shift pattern.
The SCADA Operator role comes with salary of up to 40,000, company pension, additional benefits and ongoing training.

Responsibilities and duties of the SCADA Operator role
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will:
* Monitoring plant performance in real-time using a SCADA system
* Operating and controlling key industrial processes to meet operational targets
* Troubleshooting equipment faults and supporting first-line maintenance as required
* Analysing operational data to detect trends and proactively resolve issues
* Communicating effectively with engineers, support teams, and shift colleagues to ensure smooth handovers and consistent performance
* General housekeeping duties
* Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A recognised qualification in Process Engineering is desirable but not essential
* A Full UK Driving Licence
