Astute's Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit a QC Inspector on 12 months for its Scotland site. The QC Inspector role comes with a rate of £350-£400 per day.
As the QC Inspector, you will need experience in the following:
- Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
- EU Directives
- Harmonized Standards
- CE Marking
- UKCA Marking
- Sound Engineering Practices (SEP)
- Notified Body (NoBo)
Key skills:
- Site surveillance and verification of welding activities
- Site surveillance and verification of all tests on site
- Surveillance of the timely application of contractor quality procedures
- Operational support to QC checks of incoming materials
- Support as interface between STC supervisors and contractors' persons in charge
- Support in the management of quality documents of the subcontractors
- Support to the site quality office for construction and commissioning phases
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the QC Inspector role:
- Scotland
- Outside IR35
- £350-£400 per day
