Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Energy from Waste company to recruit a Principal Process Manager for its site in North Yorkshire.
The Principal Process Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to 70,000 + car allowance + bonus.

Responsibilities and duties of the Principal Process Manager role
As the Principal Process Manager you will:
* Act as the site expert in process technology and performance.
* Optimise plant operations to achieve cost-effectiveness, stability, and sustainability.
* Lead root cause analysis to investigate and resolve process-related issues.
* Oversee the development and ownership of Process Safety Management and Management of Change.
* Provide technical authority on process performance across the site.
* Translate operational and performance data into actionable improvement plans and business insights.
* Influence the design and execution of capital projects to enhance process efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support long-term operational sustainability.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through process and performance reporting.
* Collaborate with operations, maintenance, compliance, and procurement teams to align objectives and solutions.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Chartered Engineer status with proven experience in an operational setting.
* Strong background in process control, risk management, and unit operations.
