Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Site Engineer roleReporting to the Project Director and Project Manager you will:
- Carry out setting out duties and oversee daily site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and to the required standards.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of civil construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate works and address technical queries.
- Promote and maintain high health & safety standards through site inspections, audits and accurate record keeping.
- Support project reporting, quality assurance processes and the completion of project documentation.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- CSCS card (Engineering or above).
- Experience using CAD.
The Civil Site Engineer role would suit someone who has:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong setting out capabilities and confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Sound understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices within a construction environment.
