Overview
Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Waste Management Company to recruit a Multi-disciplined Technician on a 2 month contract for its Leeds location.
The Multi-disciplined Technician comes with a competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on an extensive range of electrical/ mechanical equipment
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis and play an active role in investigating recurring faults and engineering solutions.
- Carrying out Planned preventative & reactive maintenance.
- Identification and purchase of essential maintenance spares
- Preparing procedures and risk assessment for maintenance tasks.
- Planning and carrying out improvement projects
- Supervision of maintenance sub-contractors
- Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management.
- Work on all the sites Mechanical/ Electrical assets including pumps, motors, compressors. You will accurately record maintenance using a CMMS to help plan future maintenance activities.
- Stock control of site maintenance spares.
- To be aware of and work within company Health Safety and Environment and Quality systems.
- Environmental reporting of incidents to line management
