Job Description Astute's Power Team is partnered with a market-leading Energy company, to recruit for an Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their modern Energy from Waste Power Station in Avonmouth, Bristol. \n The vital EC&I Engineer role comes with a salary of up to c.£65,000 + Bonus + Overtime + Pension + benefits \n If you're an EC&I Engineer, or experienced Technician looking for progression, and are looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does, then submit your CV to apply today. \n \nResponsibilities and duties of the EC&I Engineer role\n \n Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: \n \n The day-to-day management of short-term and long-term goals which includes preventative maintenance activities to ensure maximum plant availability. n Assist in the delivery of the overall maintenance & engineering strategy, implementing new maintenance techniques & approaches and management of the EC&I budget. \n Work alongside the Mechanical and Project Engineers to ensure work is appropriately allocated and delivered in addition to developing the sites CMMS. \n Assist in the preparation of budgets for the EC&I Department \n Act as the EC&I lead during planned outages, manage specialist contractors on site. \n Perform the role of Electrical Senior Authorised Person under the company's safety rules \n Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in line with company safety policies, safety rules and relevant H&S legislation. \n Deputise for the Engineering Manager as and when required \n \n \nProfessional qualifications\n \n We are looking for someone with the following: \n \n Ideally a HNC, or similar, in a relevant engineering subject such as Electrical/Electronics/Measurement and Control Engineering \n HV SAP/AP Experience \n IOSH/NEBOSH will be advantageous \n \n \nPersonal Skills, Prior Experience and Knowledge\n \n The EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has: \n \n Proven supervisory / management experience in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Generation (Energy from Waste, Biomass, Coal, CCGT, CHP, etc), Paper Mills, COMAH sites, Steelworks, Refineries, etc \n Experience in maintaining and working on a variety of instrumentation, electrical and control system equipment (SCADA, PLC, temperature, level, pressure, flow, switch gear, motors, variable speed drives, transformers etc). \n Contract management experience. \n Good knowledge of CMMS \n \n \nSalary and benefits of the Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineer role\n \n \n A basic salary of up to c.£65,000 \n Bonus \n Overtime \n Other excellent company benefits \n \n #LI-MB1 INDPOW \n Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
