Responsibilities and DutiesReporting to the Site Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, providing detailed records in the site’s CMMS (Maximo).
- Develop and refine maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
- Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure alignment with industry regulations such as PSSR, DSEAR, HASAWA, and LOLER.
- Provide technical support and out-of-hours assistance when required.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A mechanical apprenticeship or an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline.
- Proven experience in maintaining rotating equipment and steam systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS for reporting and work tracking.
- IOSH certification and awareness of relevant legislation would be helpful.
