Responsibilities
- Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements.
- Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures.
- Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner.
- Carrying out site surveys requests as required.
- Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner.
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit.
- Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity.
- Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy.
Professional qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent.
- C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection.
- 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations.
- Ideally at least a year’s experience from within maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity.
- Full UK licence.
Personal skills
- Keen to get into renewables.
- A real passion for renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage etc.
- Happy to travel around to sites in a field-based role.

- Salary of between 30,000 to 36,000 depending on experience.
- Overtime and on call weekends on rota.
