Astute’s Power Team is partnering with a market leader in critical power systems to recruit a Senior Technical Engineer in a nationwide role, with hybrid working. The Senior Engineer role comes with a highly competitive salary, car allowance, bonus opportunity and enhanced benefits package. Responsibilities and duties
- Provide onsite technical support to the office, Engineers and clients.
- Support Service Engineers with fault finding, overhauls, mechanical & electrical faults on site as required to ensure delivery of contracts.
- Coordinate training and development of Engineers where required/identified.
- Monitor the CHP fleet using Web Supervisor, Inteli Monitor, Lite Edit, TEM, TPEM.
- Attend onsite operational meetings with clients.
- Liaise with office-based Technical Teams for product developments and process improvements.
- Conduct site surveys to support Service Sales functions and site audits when required.
- Ensure quality control of works being delivered customer satisfaction.
- Provision and management of RAMS, ensure adherence across the team for on-site works.
Professional qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an engineering environment with knowledge of generators and UPS systems.
- Knowledge of Generator/AMF Control Panels (Deepsea, Comap, SDMO).
- Excellent electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Prior experience in leading or managing field-service engineering teams.
