The Sales Engineer role comes with a salary of £50,000, variable bonus and monthly car allowance.

Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Engineer role Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will: Prepare quotations and tender documents for the company's Power Switching & Monitoring product ranges.
Represent the company at pre- and post-tender meetings.
Attend pre-delivery project meetings as the company's technical representative.
Support post-delivery project activities, including commissioning, training, and handover.
Use software (CRM, Support Line) to maintain high technical support service levels.
Provide on-site technical expertise in fault finding, commissioning, and support alongside the CIM team.
Deliver internal and external technical training for sales teams, CIM, system integrators, and key customers.
Identify new business opportunities and prepare and follow up on quotations.
Gather and communicate customer technical requirements to support product and service improvements.
Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or HND in electrical engineering preferred or Electrical Trade qualification Personal skills Technical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, energy monitoring, automation/SCADA, IT networks.
Strong communication and presentation skills Commercial awareness and ability to influence stakeholders Good organisational and time management skills The Sales Engineer role would suit someone who: Understands energy systems, can engage consultants, and is comfortable managing the full sales cycle-from specification to closing deals.
