Astute’s Nuclear Team is partnering with an international design consultancy, who are looking to recruit a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for their office based in central Birmingham. The strategically important hire of a Principal Geotechnical Engineer comes with a salary of up to £65,000, flexible working and a competitive overall package. Responsibilities
- Perform Geotechnical design tasks to a high level
- Manage your workload as well as help support more junior engineers with their workload
- Be involved in forecasting and budgeting as well as resourcing
- Assist in liaising with clients and building out relationships
- Attend site visits as and when is required
Professional qualifications
- 8 – 10 years’ experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer
- Must hold Chartership within Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of the contractual side of engineering
- Full right to live and work in the UK
- Experienced with Finite Element Analysis
