The Head of Development role will be focused on their Wind and Solar assets.
This is a hybrid role, and travel to assets will be required on a regular basis. 120,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties of the Head of Development - Renewables role As the Head of Development, you will be responsible for: Lead and develop a geographically dispersed renewable development team of 10+ professionals across the UK and Ireland.
Drive renewable energy projects from origination through to Ready-to-Build and Financial Decision stages.
Deliver ambitious development targets and ensure successful execution of greenfield initiatives.
Lead project origination activities through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic business development opportunities.
Build and manage renewable energy portfolios comprising utility-scale solar and onshore wind projects.
Oversee partnership and acquisition activities to maximise project progression and commercial success.
Provide high-quality reporting, market insights, and regulatory guidance to the wider renewables team.
Act as the key interface between Development and internal departments including EPC, Commercial Analysis, Offtake, and Asset Rotation teams.
Represent the Development team externally while promoting a collaborative, solution-focused leadership culture internally.
Strong project management expertise, particularly within acquisition-led renewable development environments.
Demonstrated track record in UK utility-scale solar and onshore wind project development from origination to Ready-to-Build stage.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and partnership-building skills.
