Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Operator role Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Support the safe, efficient daily operation of an anaerobic digestion plant Monitor and optimise performance via the control system Record and report plant data and performance metrics Complete routine inspections, checks and basic first-line maintenance Conduct routine sampling of the organic material and process monitoring Maintain site security, housekeeping and compliance with permits and procedures Assist with maintenance activities and participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays Experience working in an agricultural, process-driven, industrial or energy environment Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to undertake first-line maintenance IT literacy and confidence working with plant control or monitoring systems A full UK driving licence.
