The HV jointer role comes with a salary of up to £43,700 basic doe, plus up a 20% performance bonus, a yearly profit share (~£8,000), guaranteed overtime and much more. Responsibilities and duties of the HV jointer role Reporting to the engineering manager you will: Carry out terminations and jointing at 33kV Test and fault find where necessary Excavate, shore, and prepare joint bays Adhere to strict health and safety site regulations Be prepared to stay away most weeks Monday-Friday Professional qualifications No formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience: 3+ years experience jointing at 33kV or above Strong experience carrying out terminations and jointing Experience with underground/substation jointing is ideal Experience working in new-build substation environments is ideal Personal skills The HV jointer role would suit someone who has: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in complex, fast-changing environments No issue working in windy/rainy conditions when the time comes Collaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck in Adaptable and able to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments Salary and benefits of the HV jointer role £42,000 - £43,700 basic DOE (75-85k OTE) Up to 20% performance bonus (~£8,000) Yearly profit share (~£8,000) Door to door travel paid Guaranteed overtime if desired Company vehicle & fuel card provided Accommodation and meal allowance paid for stayaways Enhanced pension Continuing Learning and Development Opportunities #LI-TS1 INDPOW Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
