Responsibilities and duties of the Service Coordinator role:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers as their dedicated Service Coordinator.
  • Coordinate engineers across the UK, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource planning.
  • Handle high volumes of customer calls, emails, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Forecast engineer requirements and manage planned maintenance schedules and service contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewals, remedial works, and additional service sales.
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and produce service reports.
  • Support engineers with job documentation, parts ordering, and access arrangements.
  • Liaise with customers, engineers, and internal departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately while maintaining exceptional customer communication throughout.

Professional qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, Scheduler, or similar customer-facing administrative role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced engineering, facilities management, utilities, or technical service environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
