Astute’s Power Team is partnering with a leading global provider of Energy‑from‑Waste (EfW) solutions. This organisation delivers turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects across the full lifecycle, to recruit a Commissioning Manager for its Glasgow Anaerobic Digestion Project.

Responsibilities and duties of the Commissioning Manager role:

  • Lead all commissioning activities to deliver against HSE, budget and schedule targets.
  • Establish and implement commissioning strategies, standards and practices.
  • Manage commissioning teams and subcontractors to provide clear direction on site.
  • Ensure contractual requirements, technical specifications and quality standards are complied with.
  • Act as a commissioning interface with internal teams, clients and contractors.
  • Progress, risks and performance monitoring, implementing corrective actions to maintain project objectives.

Professional qualifications:

  • Experience in renewable gas (biogas, biomethane, e‑methane, etc).
  • SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH.

Personal Skills:

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Proficiency with project tools (SAP, P6, technical drawings, P&IDs).
