Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a leading renewable energy company, a market leader in solar operations, to recruit a Field Service Engineer covering the South of England, with occasional travel for business needs. The role involves onsite service and maintenance of large-scale solar assets. This strategically important Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £40k plus a vehicle.

Responsibilities and Duties:- Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will:
- Visual inspection activities, cleaning and report to management team.
- Routine maintenance activities on modules, inverters, cables and connectors, DC and AC distribution boxes.
- Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverter and transformer stations.
- Routine maintenance activities on monitoring and communication equipment.
- Routine maintenance activities on security system devices.
- Fault finding on electrical components by means of visual inspections or professional site measurement activities.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Certification or equivalent.
- At least five years' experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
- Previous Solar PV maintenance experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DC electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and occupational health & safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
