Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Technical Asset Manager role

Reporting to the Head of Operations and Asset Management you will:

  • Lead the technical asset management team and set KPIs
  • Own portfolio availability, reliability, and performance
  • Manage and optimise BESS and renewable energy assets
  • Oversee O&M contractors and service provider performance
  • Analyse SCADA and operational data to drive optimisation
  • Manage commissioning activities (PAC, IAC, FAC)
  • Ensure HSE, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met
  • Support reporting, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • 10+ years' experience in renewable energy or power operations
  • Strong experience in Renewable Energy, ideally Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Experience leading technical or operational teams
  • Degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
