Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Technician role:- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in industrial environments.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis on power distribution, control circuits, and automation systems.
- Support modifications, retrofitting, and panel/control cabinet work including parameterisation and programming.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, ATEX, and internal QHSE standards across all site activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, test reports, and service records.
- Vocational diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and field service.
- Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing tools and equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.).
- Understanding of switchgear, control systems, and industrial automation.
- Strongly safety conscious with a clear commitment to QHSE standards.
- A confident problem solver with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Able to work independently in the field and make sound technical decisions.
