Astute's Power Team is partnering with a well-established large-scale EV installer with a commitment to professional development and sustainability, to recruit an Electrical Field Service Engineer to cover the Greater London area.
The Electrical Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary up to £48,000 basic (negotiable dependent on experience) + company vehicle & fuel card, a discretionary annual bonus, 30 days holiday including shutdown days, and private healthcare.
Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Engineer role Working with the Service & Operations team you will: Conduct initial set up and testing to ensure correct operation and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with the project management and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of charging stations with client infrastructure.
Maintain company assets, tools, and test equipment in good working order and report any defects immediately.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on EV charging stations to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including electrical, mechanical and software-related problems.
Ensure that all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacture guidelines.
Provide on-site technical support and training to clients on the use and operation of EV chargers.
