The Civil Site Engineer role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000, alongside private healthcare and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Responsibilities and duties of the Civil Site Engineer role:
- Reporting to the Project Director and Project Manager you will carry out setting out duties and oversee daily site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered accurately and to the required standards.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of civil construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders to coordinate works and address technical queries.
- Promote and maintain high health & safety standards through site inspections, audits and accurate record keeping.
- Support project reporting, quality assurance processes and the completion of project documentation.
Professional qualifications:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- CSCS card (Engineering or above).
- Experience using CAD.
Personal skills:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong setting out capabilities and confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Sound understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices within a construction environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across project teams.
