Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Quality Electrical Engineer on an 8 month minimum contract basis for its West Midlands site for an immediate start. The Quality Electrical Engineer role comes with a day rate of £450.
Key skills required for the Quality Electrical Engineer role:
- Oversee and monitor Quality Plans of subcontractors and EPC
- Review and approve subcontractors Technical Procedures
- Oversee subcontractors ITPs
- Oversee subcontractors EC&I testing
- Complete Quality audits to subcontractors and supplier's installations
- Assemble electrical Final Quality Dossiers
- Detect, submit, and monitor non-conformities
- Liaise with Client Electrical Engineer
- Must have electrical engineering knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX compliance
- Ideally have experience in the Energy from Waste (EFW) new build sector or similar
