Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Technician role
- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in industrial environments
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis on power distribution, control circuits, and automation systems
- Support modifications, retrofitting, and panel/control cabinet work including parameterisation and programming
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, ATEX, and internal QHSE standards across all site activities
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, test reports, and service records
Professional qualifications
- Vocational diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and field service
- Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and control systems
