Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies, encompassing asset planning, maintenance, and optimisation, in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Fulfil obligations under the Management Services Agreement (MSA) and oversee compliance with key Project Documents.
- Drive plant performance optimisation in collaboration with the O&M contractor, safeguarding the plant’s short- and long-term interests.
- Oversee lifecycle activities including planning, execution, review, and value assessment.
- Contribute to annual business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking with the Board and Lenders.
- Oversee facility management contracts and procurement processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with the Board, escalating key issues and seeking guidance when required.
Professional Qualifications
- Ideally degree educated in an engineering subject (not a necessity though).
Personal Skills, Prior Experience and Knowledge
- Prior experience working in the Energy from Waste/Waste to energy sector (this is a necessity).
- A result focussed, team player, who can demonstrate experience of working in a leadership role as part of a small team in a similar environment.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce reports on complex issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of identifying and driving business improvements.
