Astute's Power Team is partnering with a UPS systems delivery, maintenance & services provider to recruit a Technical Service Manager to work on a hybrid basis which will require travel to their Alton Offices & to customer sites UK wide. The Technical Service Manager role comes with a highly competitive salary of up to £70,000 plus company car / car allowance, private healthcare & benefits. Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Service Manager role:
- Reporting to the Technical Operations Director you will act as the company's Technical Authority to provide expert technical guidance & support across the full range of UPS systems and the associated power infrastructure solutions.
- Support all key stakeholders including UPS Field Service Operations, Projects, Sales, approved subcontractors and customers.
- Act as the central point of contact for complex technical matters, fault resolution, product support and technical training.
- Travel to sites across the UK where you will be supporting technical investigations, project delivery and training.
- Proven experience working with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, with high level technical competence in installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system operation.
- Technical qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, such as HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent industry recognised certification.
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, electrical power distribution, and relevant industry standards.
The Technical Service Manager role would suit someone who is flexible to travel to the Alton offices and to sites across the UK (with up to 25% of the time being site travel).
