The role is based in the purchasing department and will involve working closely alongside other areas of the business to ensure cost effective buying, suitably timed for production/customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure stock is available to coincide with planned production.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sourcing new suppliers.
- Highlight cost saving opportunities.
- Price negotiation.
- Using Excel to create stock reports.
- Raising of purchase orders.
- Support Senior Buyer with the purchase of raw plastic materials.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments such as Planning and Sales.
