Astute Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Payroller to join a friendly, small finance team for a rapidly growing company based in Alfreton. This is a fully onsite, full-time role.
We are looking for someone with full end-to-end payroll experience and all-round accounts experience to support the finance function.
The Role
- Payroll: Manage weekly payroll for all employees, including new starters, leavers, and updates. Submit payroll to HMRC and handle payroll queries. Post wages journals and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices, match POs to invoices and GRNs, code, and input. Reconcile supplier statements, prepare payment runs, and handle supplier queries. Set up new suppliers.
