Astute Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to find an experienced Management Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team based in Long Whatton. This role is ideal for someone who considers themselves to be detail-orientated, proactive and a team player. In this newly formed position, your responsibility will be to support the finance team with a range of accounting tasks with the view to becoming a fully fledged management accountant. Main Duties: Preparing financial statements and annual budgets Making sure spending is in line with budgets Credit control and purchase ledger support Analysing company financial performance Creating long term forecasts as well as making suggestions to cut costs Working with the wider business to help make astute financial decisions Further ad hoc duties when required Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role Proficient in using Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to effectively multitask AAT Level 3 qualified (desirable but not essential) Benefits and Salary: Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience Potential for study support Working hours of 8:30am until 5pm …
