Astute Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with our client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy and fast-paced finance team based in Ilkeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their management accounting career while gaining full study support towards professional qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support with accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in variance analysis and reporting to senior finance stakeholders
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end close procedures
- Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory reporting requirements
- Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a finance role is preferred.
