This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Payable professional to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role is fully office-based and would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Scanning and inputting purchase ledger invoices onto the system
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders (POs) and delivery notes
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Managing supplier queries via email and telephone
  • Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Chasing approvals for unmatched invoices
  • Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records and filing systems
