Astute's Renewable's Team is partnering with key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion sector, to recruit a Nights Plant Operator for its Winchester site. This permanent role is on-site and offers up to £37,500 plus bonus, overtime and progression opportunities. Responsibilities of the Nights Plant Operator Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will: Monitor the anaerobic digestion plant, ensuring optimal run time Support the Plant Manager to implement and achieve operational and personal targets Ensure that the plant is clean and tidy Feed the plant using a Telehandler Ensure that the extruders are running smoothly and attending to any issues Maintain all relevant site health, safety, quality and environmental standards Ensure that health and safety is adhered to at all times Perform visual checks of the plant, logging all findings Perform any housekeeping duties that need doing Other duties are required Required qualifications and experience To be considered, you must have: Experience working within an agricultural, production or process environment A valid Telehandler licence or demonstrable experience operating a Telehandler Experience maintaining high health and safety standards, including working independently with minimal supervision A full UK driving licence and willingness to work night shifts (approximately 8pm-4am, Monday to Friday) Flexible to participate in a weekend rota, including occasional Saturday shifts. Desirable experience It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have: Experience working within an anaerobic digestion, biogas or similar process plant A recognised engineering qualification and previous experience working night shifts Salary and benefits Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 8pm - 4am Location: Winchester Benefits: Performance-related bonus, company pension, 25 days holidayINDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
