Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a Project File Coordinator to join the EPC Contractor on the new build synchronous condenser based in Pembrokeshire. This role is a day‑rate position from £250.00 to £300.00 (PAYE) and can be based in Pembrokeshire or from home. The assignment is for 4 months with an immediate start date.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the compilation, maintenance, and final handover of the Health & Safety File in accordance with CDM Regulations and project requirements.
  • Collect, review, and organise documentation from contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, certificates, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation.
  • Liaise with engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality teams to ensure all required project documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
  • Track outstanding documentation, proactively following up with relevant parties to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
  • Verify that Health & Safety File contents meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Manage document control processes, ensuring all records are correctly version‑controlled, indexed, and stored within project management systems.
  • Support project close‑out activities by preparing comprehensive turnover packages and final Health & Safety File submissions.
  • Produce regular progress reports highlighting documentation status, outstanding actions, and risks to successful project completion.
  • Ensure all project records are maintained in a clear, structured, and auditable format to facilitate future operation, maintenance, and modification of the facility.
