Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Support Engineer role:

  • Provide technical support to customers and Sales team for Switchgear products, including application guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Propose appropriate solutions to meet customer application requirements, ensuring technical suitability and clear communication of key assumptions or limitations.
  • Deliver product technical and catalogue training to customers and staff.
  • Attend customer sites to provide commissioning and troubleshooting assistance where required.
  • Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.
  • Assess customer product returns and prepare clear technical assessment reports to support issue resolution and continuous improvement.
