Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability, to recruit a Field Service Technician for its Liverpool sites and surrounding areas site portfolio. The strategically important Field Service Technician role comes with a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience, company pension, private healthcare, life insurance, company van and fuel card, bonus scheme, and 33 days holiday including bank holidays. Responsibilities And Duties Of The Field Service Technician Role
- Reporting to the Field Service Team Leader you will:
- Ensure optimal performance of large-scale renewable energy assets
- Perform operations and maintenance across a portfolio of solar and battery storage sites
- Adhere to all HSE requirements and safe systems of work
- Test DC and AC systems, fault-find and trace electrical issues
- Conduct firmware updates and use monitoring systems to identify asset performance issues
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance and testing of electrical systems
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend operational improvements
- Support with occasional tasks such as panel cleaning, basic ground maintenance and CCTV checks
- Travel across your patch and occasionally support sites outside your area when required
Professional Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
- 2391 Test & Inspection (highly desirable)
- Health & Safety qualifications (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence
