Astute's Renewables Team is very proudly partnered with a company in the UK's biogas sector who are progressing forward with some strategic development and as a result, we're looking for a Project Development Manager to join them. The strategically important Project Development Manager role comes with a competitive salary, pension, and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering major AD and biomethane projects through to Final Investment Decision and beyond.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Development Manager role:

  • Lead anaerobic digestion and biomethane projects through feasibility, FEED and pre-construction phases through to Final Investment Decision (FID).
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, commercial and development teams to ensure projects remain technically and commercially viable.
  • Manage project development programmes including planning, permitting, feedstock strategy, utilities connections and digestate management.
  • Support investment and commercial teams with project modelling assumptions including CAPEX, OPEX, revenues and risk assessments.
  • Oversee procurement and contracting strategies.
